Village Press in Print!

Village Press, Inc. is going to be pictured in an upcoming issue of Heidelberg Direct, the magazine put out by the Heidelberg manufacturing company.  A salesman from the publication visited the press in early January to deliver the iPad Stuart had won in their contest, and got some pictures of the Village Press Heidelbergs.  The Village Press will be featured in the section “Show us your Heidelbergs”.  For an online version of the magazine, go to www.us.heidelberg.com/us/direct.

In other news, our race to 100 fans on facebook is going strong!  At last count we had 29 fans, and once we reach 100 fans we’ll hold the drawing for a custom letterpress notepad!

Heidelberg Contest

Here is a picture of me, Stuart Pyle,President of The Village Press,Inc. holding the box containing a brand new apple iPad! I was lucky enough to win this in a drawing held by Heidelberg USA division of Heidelberg AG of Heidelberg, Germany, a beautiful river city home to a castle, a university, many US Army men and a great press manufacturer. The gist of the contest was to update our email account with them so I did and I won! BOOOYAH! It is great! I’m writing this on it. Our press room is made up of a 21″x 28″ Original Heidelberg Cylinder, 2 10″x 15″ Heidelberg T platens, a 13″ x 18″ Heidelberg GTP factory produced foil stamping press. We also have an 8″ x 12″ Chandler and Price Gordon hand fed press and an automatic 12″ x 18″ Kluge.
